Easter is totally dependent on Good Friday. Without Good Friday there would not be Easter. Without the darkness of Good Friday, there would be no Light of Easter. If we didn’t have Good Friday, Easter would be unnecessary and irrelevant, in fact would not exist.
Easter is the celebration of someone who died and overcame death. Without that death, celebration of that “someone” would be unnecessary. In fact we believe that our appreciation and enthusiasm around Easter is dependent upon our appreciation and understanding of Good Friday. Get ready for the celebration by focusing on the One who is at the heart of Good Friday
