Like many churches, our desire in worship is to respond to God, for who he is and what he has done for us. But how do we respond? How should we respond?

I know that in my life I bring something different with me each Sunday, simply because of the challenges and choices that I’ve made during the week. Life happens one day at a time. And if I’m honest with myself, and with God, he wants me to come…just the way I am. At Hope, we desire his grace and truth to be experienced in our lives, not only on Sunday, but throughout the week. After all, Jesus pursued and interacted with people in everyday life situations. He wants to meet us in our need, and our deepest need is met in a relationship to our Holy God through Jesus.

Yet there is something special when we come together in community to worship him. Every Sunday it is our earnest prayer that God’s Spirit moves in our hearts and lives as we worship him, as we offer our lives and again proclaim His supremacy and our devotion to him. It just doesn’t get any better when we draw near to God and he draws near to us, to know him and sense his presence in our lives.

In our worship services we use a wide range of the creative arts to engage and lead our community in worship. Some Sundays are reverent and filled with awe and wonder, while other Sundays you may have to hang onto your seats! Quite frankly, God’s love for you and me is amazing, and his grace and mercy overwhelming. This is the God who I long to respond to.

I invite you to come and join us for worship, to respond to who God is….oh, and come just as you are.
